Yes. There are chances of getting infection over the cervix if the yeast infection is not treated well. Yeast infection is known as candidiasis and caused by “candida albicans” yeast. It can be cured completely with the recent medicines and tablets provided the source of furhter infection like unprotected sexual *********** must be avoided. Couple must be treated at the same time to avoid future infections.

They are different things, however…
Candida, the microorganism that creates a yeast infection, can spread. Although it may not cause a Cervical infection by definition, it can cause cervical irritation if it gets bad enough.
